COMEAU, Ruby Margaret - 81, 16 Herrett Rd., Four Winds Senior Citizen
Complex, Springhill, passed away Monday, July 28, 2003, in The George
DuMont Hospital, Moncton, N.B. Born in Maccan, Cumberland Co., she was
a daughter of the late Joseph Henry and Lucy Dianna (Smith) Langille.
She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary, she enjoyed
word puzzles and knitting for which she
received a citation for knitting mittens for Springhill school
children. She is survived by son, Jack (Hjordis) Langille, Birchwood,
Cumberland Co.; daughter, Lynn (Ernest) Godfrey, Springhill; sisters,
Kathleen Johnson, Saint John, N.B.; Doris Glenwright, Sault Ste. Marie,
Ont.; Lucy Nelson, Amherst; grandchildren, Chris, Cora, Ralph and
Angela; great-grandchildren, Sybil and Devon; several
nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Walter
Comeau; son, Carl; sisters, Ellen, Ada and Josephine; brother, Vernon.
Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in A.H. Brown Funeral Home,
Springhill, where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday,
July 30, Deacon Howard Gotell officiating. Burial in Hillside Cemetery,
Springhill. In lieu of flowers, donations to George DuMont Hospital,
Moncton, N.B. would be appreciated.
