PYE, Ruby Jane 86, Halifax, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2008, in the QEII Cardiac Unit 6.2. Born in Goldenville, she was a daughter of the late Melissa Jane (Langille) and Rupert Misener. She is survived by daughter, Helen (Merv), Collingwood, Ont.; sons, Gordon, Halifax; Clyde (Bob), Toronto; Victor (Sheila), Waterloo; sisters, Madeline and Beatrice; brothers, Roy, Mannford, Calvin, Clarence; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by first husband, Edward Pye and second husband, Chester Pye; brothers, Russell, Lloyd and Gordon; sisters, Delilah and Helen. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 6-9 p.m. Saturday, January 3, in Cruikshank's Halifax Funeral Home. Private interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Ruby may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Cardiac Unit 6.2 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. "Cruikshank's on the Commons"
