Charles Herbert Benjamin

Benjamin - Charles Herbert - 56, 4 Andes Ave., Bible Hill, Colchester County, died Tuesday in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Wentworth, Cumberland County, he was a son of the late Ernest and Doris (MacPhee) Benjamin. He worked most of his life as a woodsman. He is survived by his wife, the former Mae Langille; two daughters, Gloria (Alan Turner), Truro; Nancy (Mrs. Frank Boomer), Bible Hill; a son, Carson, Bible Hill; a sister, Elaine Redmond, British Columbia; a brother, Glen, Oxford. He was predeceased by a sister, Evelyn; a brother, Lyle. The body is in Mattatall Funeral Home, Truro, visiting 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today, where funeral will be held 4 p.m. Thursday, Rev. Morley Bentley officiating. Burial will be in Bible Hill Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart Foundation.
