Virginia Downing Webb

Downing, Virginia (nee Webb), passed away peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2008,
at the Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro, surrounded by family and friends.
Born in New Glasgow,
she was a daughter of the late Stewart and Charlotte (Langille) Webb.
Virginia is survived by her spouse, Laurie;
sons, Stewart (Lynne), and Murray;
grandchildren, Jason, Sara, Ashley and Christina who will greatly miss their grammie;
brothers and sisters, Minnie Colpitts, Helen (Lewis) Faulkner, Marvin Webb, Hanson (Betty) Webb, Shirley (Lloyd) Tanner;
half-brother, James Webb;
many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by sister, Eleanor McBurney; sister-in-law, Alicia Colpitts;
brother-in-law, Burrell Downing; half-brothers, Owen, Wylie, Leo, Israel, Mert, Norman, Elonzo. Funeral service was held 2 pm Sunday, September 28, 2008 in Economy United Church, Reverend Florence Antle-Brison officiated. Interment was held in the Economy Cemetery.
