Obituary for ~
Roger Arthur Langille
May 6, 1921 - June 6, 1929
Roger Arthur, son of Robert A. Langille and his wife, Charlotte
Louise (Ernst) was born on the sixth day of May, 1921, at Mahone Bay.
His brief pilrimage ended on Saturday, July 6th, 1929, when he
accidently fell into the LaHave River, near his home, at the
Bridgewater Shipyards. His body was recovered by Captain J.T.
Elworthy, a neighbour. Funeral services were held at his late home on
Monday, July 8th, by Rev. Geo. P. Endy of St.Paul's Lutheran Church.
Rev. Chas. W. Seville of the Midville Lutheran Parish assisted with
the burial rites. Members of St.Paul's choir sang appropiate hymns.
The funeral was largely attended by sympathizing friends. There were
many floral tributes.
This lovely bud so young and fair,
Called home by early doom,
Just came to show how sweet a flower
In Paradise will bloom.
