BECK, Agnes Alice - 91, Dean's Corner, passed away Friday, September 5, 2008, in Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay. Born in Dean's Corner, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Langille) Tanner. Agnes was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg. She is survived by a son, Robert, Ontario; brother, Clarence, Bridgewater; sister, Bernice MacDonald, Dartmouth, and one grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell Beck; brothers, Lawrence, Raymond, and Ronald, and a sister, Marion. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweey Funeral Home, 11213 Highway 3, Lunenburg, with visitation today from 7-9 p.m. and where a memorial service to celebrate Agnes's life will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Rev. Vivian S. Roberts officiating. Interment will be in Martin's Brook Cemetery, Martin's Brook.
