Mae Gertrude Bowie (nee Langill)

Mae Gertrude (Langill) Bowie of Watertown died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at Emerson Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Watertown. She was 98. Born in Waltham, a daughter of the late Linn and Mary A. (Glynn) Langill, she was raised and educated in Waltham and had lived in Watertown since the 1950s. Mrs. Bowie was a retired bookkeeper for Raytheon Co. and a member of the Watertown Yacht Club. Wife of the late Syldon G. Bowie, she leaves a sister, Agnes McFayden of Waltham. Her graveside service was held Friday, Feb. 16, at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown. Arrangements were made by MacDonald, Rockwell and MacDonald Funeral Home, Watertown.
