George Hibbert Langille

LANGILLE, George Hibbert - 86, Shiretown Nursing Home, Pictou, formerly of Central Caribou, died January 9, 1993, in the home. Born in River John, Pictou County, he was a son of the late Burton and Margaret Mary (Heighton) Langille. He was a retired carpenter. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by a son, Neil, Alert Bay, B.C.; daughter, Althea (Mrs. Wilson Reid), St. Catharines, Ont.; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Martha Jane Kaiser; son, Ronald Victor; ten brothers, Kennie, Eldon, John, Gordon, Edward, Russell, Harry, William, two in infancy; sister, Grace MacKenzie. The body is in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. Kenneth Stright officiating. Burial will be in Central Caribou Cemetery.
