Wilson Alexander Langille

LANGILLE, Wilson A. - 87, River John, Pictou County, died March 12,
1993, in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche. Born in
River John, he was a son of the late Welsford and Eunice (Mingo)
Langille. He lived all of his life in the River John area. He was a
retired fisherman and an avid hunter. He is survived by his wife, the
former Myrtle Dwyer; seven daughters, Shirlee Anne Smith, Winnipeg;
Leota (Mrs. Alex MacDonald), New Glasgow; Muriel (Mrs. Bill Baillie),
River John; Irene (Mrs. Reginald Dame), Middleton; Gaye (Mrs. Hubert
Hillier), St. John's, Nfld.; Darrell (Mrs. Gerald Sutherland),
Caribou River; Roline (Mrs. Gordon Brown), Woodstock, Ont.; four
sons, Weldon, Guelph, Ont.; Stanley, Genelle, B.C.; Melbourne, Fort
McMurray, Alta.; Terrance, Woodstock, Ont.; 30 grandchildren; 37
great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Gwendolyn
Gratto; six brothers, William, Robin, Vernley, Burton, Gordon, Dan.
The body is in MacLeod's Funeral Home, River John. Funeral will be 11
a.m. today in St. John's Anglican Church, River John, Rev. Michael
Hawkins officiating, assisted by Rev. Eldie Richard. Burial will be
in Mountain Road Cemetery, River John. In lieu of flowers, donations
may be made to St. John's Anglican Church.
