LANGILLE, Alice Maude - 72, Mountain Road, River John, died April 14, 1993, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in River John, she was a daughter of Elizabeth (MacDonnel) Gratto, Pictou and the late Daniel Gratto. She is survived by her husband, Earl; five daughters, Rosalie Reid, Lower Sackville; Laura Chapman, Carbon, Alta.; Linda Mertin, River John; Anne Pearl, Riverton; Susie Langille, Newcastle, N.B.; two sons, Ronald, River John; Roger, Truro; three brothers, Stanley, Murray, Alvin, all of River John; four sisters, Annie Sutherland, Bernice Thompson, Eileen Langille, all of River John; Mildred Eaton, Woodstock, Ont.; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Edward; grandson, Joseph. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in MacLeod's Funeral Home, River John. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday in St. George's Presbyterian Church River John, Rev. Murray Graham officiating. Burial will be in Mountain Road Cemetery, River John. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
