Born in Earltown, Colchester Co., he was a son of the late James and Freda (McNutt) (Hirtle) Langille.
He was a resident of Maplewood Manor, Tatamagouche, for many years before moving to Willow Lodge six years ago.
Surviving are sisters, Caroline McGill, Earltown;
Marlene Langille-Rogers, Oxford;
half-sisters, Elva Shearer, Tatamagouche Mountain;
Phyllis Stevenson, Middleton;
brothers, Sterling, Earltown;
Elroy, North River;
half-brother, William Hirtle, North River;
several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by half-sister, Freda; brother, Freeman in infancy.
Graveside service 11 a.m. Tuesday in Earltown Village Cemetery, Rev. Morley Bentley officiating.
No flowers by request. Donations to Willow Lodge or any charity.
