Doreen Katherine Langille (nee Hayman)

LANGILLE (Hayman), Doreen Katherine - 65, 170 Blair Ave., Tatamagouche, passed away January 23, 2002, in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche. Born in Balmoral Mills, Colchester Co., September 8, 1936, she was the oldest daughter of the late Noble and Ellen (Fraser) Hayman. As a young woman, she worked as a cook in wood camps with her husband, but later devoted her time to caring for her home and raising her family. She enjoyed gardening and animals. Surviving are her son, Terry; daughter, Bonnie (Harold) Church, both of Oliver; grandchildren, Christie, Rebecca, Lori and Tyson Langille, Nicole Church; brother, Victor Hayman, Balfron; sisters, Marie (Lawrence) Weatherbie, Hamilton, Ont.; Beth (Mike) Latinski, Waughs River; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew in February 1998. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Coulter's Funeral Home, Tatamagouche. At Doreen's request there will be no visitation or service. A family graveside burial will be held at a later date. Donations in Doreen's memory may be made to the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, North Shore Health Services Foundation, Langille Gift Cemetery, New Annan or a charity of choice.
