LANGILLE, Arnold Steward - 77, Tatamagouche, formerly of River John,
passed away Sunday, March 9, 2003, in Lillian Fraser Memorial
Hospital, Tatamagouche. Born in River John, he was a son of the late
Lawson and Florence (Baillie) Langille. He served in the Canadian
Army in Petawawa, Ont. He was very talented with his hands in
woodcrafting. He is survived by his wife, the former Eileen
Jollimore; sons, Reginald (Holly), Toney River; Robert (Sharon),
Hodson; Gerald, Tatamagouche; daughters, Peggy Hiltz, Westville;
Patricia (Robert) Dicks, Barrachois; Lynn (Darrell) Manning,
Louisville; sisters, Nellie (Ellis) Robar, Nictaux; Flora Langille,
Mississauga, Ont.; Thelma (James) Dunphy, Middleton, Colchester Co.;
13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sisters, Hilda, Jennie, Mary, Phyllis;
brothers, Percy and Reginald. No visitation by request. There will be
a family funeral service in MacLeod's Funeral Home, River John,
Tuesday at 2 p.m., Rev. Donald Sutherland officiating. Spring burial
in Mountain Road Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made
to a charity of your choice.
