Cumberland – Katherine M. "Kay" (Langille) Faria, 89, of Old Diamond
Hill Road died Monday, March 24, 2008 at Landmark Medical Center,
Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Albert Faria.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late William A. and Lottie E.
(Brundage) Langille, she had lived in Cumberland for most of her
life. She had also lived in Lincoln for 13 years. She was a graduate
of Cumberland High School.
Mrs. Faria was a mail carrier for Health-Tex, Cumberland before
retiring.
She was a member of Arnold Mills United Methodist Church, Cumberland
and a member of its choir for 65 years. She was a member of Limerock
Chapter #26, Order of the Eastern Star, Lincoln, and a member of the
Limerockers of Lincoln. She was a member of the International 1918
Club and was a member and chaplain of the Cumberland Chapter of the
AARP.
She is survived by one brother, Emery A. Langille of Jacksonville,
FL; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late
Dorothy E. Reichling.
Her funeral will be held FRIDAY, MARCH 28 at 10 A.M. in Arnold Mills
United Methodist Church, 690 Nate Whipple Highway, Cumberland. Burial
will be private.
