LANGILLE, Gordon Arthur 76, West Liscomb, passed away on November 25, 2008, in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke. Born August 29, 1932, he was a son of the late George and Margaret (Morris) Langille of Liscomb. Gordon was a hard working man, working at Liscomb Lodge for 14 years and in Sherbrooke Village for 23 years. He loved to go digging clams down the back road and cutting wood, also gardening in the summer. He is survived by his wife, the former Geneva Minnie Jollota. Gordon was the proud father of daughter, Lori-Ann (Wesley) Fleet; sons, Steven (Holly) Langille, Arthur (Norma) Langille, Francis (Laura) Langille, Gordon (Judy) Langille; sisters, Hilda Fitzgerald and Verna Horton; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brother, Alvin Langille; sister, Rita Langille; grandsons, Michael and Gordie Langille. Visitation is today in Ecum Secum Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. where funeral service will be held Friday, November 28, at 2 p.m., Barry Jack officiating, burial to follow in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Marie Joseph. Donations may be made to the palliative care unit in Sherbrooke Hospital. A celebration of life cermemony will be held Friday after the burial at the Marie Joseph Community Centre.
