LANGILLE, James Wesley - 74, Liscomb Mills, Guysborough Co.,
passed away peacefully October 11, 1999,
in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke, surrounded by his wife and family.
Born in Liscomb Mills on March 8, 1925,
he was a son of the late John and Isabell (Shrider) Langille.
He was a carpenter most of his life,
retiring in May, 1990 after 20 years of
service at Sherbrooke Village Woodworking Shop.
Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Cleversey;
sons, Junior (Dorothy), Ecum Secum;
Johnnie (Connie), Liscomb Mills;
daughters, Diane Barkhouse (Earl), Darlene Fleet (Wayne),
Sandra Zinck (Keith), Nancy Rudolph (Larry), all of Liscomb Mills,
and Dawn Beck (James), Ecum Secum;
brothers, Oland, Dartmouth;
Wendell, New Glasgow;
sisters, Helen Mitchell, Dartmouth;
Donnie Snyder, Sackville;
Phyllis Baker, Halifax;
Maxine Noel, Liscomb Mills
and Dorothy Yeadon, Spryfield;
nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Cremation has taken place.
Private visitation by request of the family in the Ecum Secum Funeral Home, Ecum Secum,
today from 7-9 p.m.
Private graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 14,
in St. Paul's Anglican Church Cemetery, Mitchell Bay,
Rev. Brian Hutchins officiating. Family flowers only please.
Donations to St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, palliative care or
St. Paul's Anglican Church, Mitchell Bay.
