Eben Leslie Langille

LANGILLE, Eben Leslie - 96, Dartmouth, passed away peacefully September 24, 2006, in Oakwood Terrace. Born in Cumberland County, he was a son of the late William and Belle (Jamieson) Langille. Eben was born and raised on the Gulf Shore where he farmed until he moved to Cole Harbour 50 years ago. Eben then changed careers where he worked as a nursing assistant until his retirement. Eben is survived by son, Jim (Paulette); grandson, Arthur (Flora), and granddaughter, Wendy (Kelly) Peters; great-grandchildren , Graeme, Rachael, Hannah and Josiah. He was predeceased by wife, Sadie; brothers, Roy, Cecil and Oz; sisters, Leona and Evelyn. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, September 28, in Cole Harbour-Woodside United Church, 15 Bissett Rd. Burial will be in Waugh Cemetery, Pugwash.
