Jean M. Dee, 80 TEWKSBURY — Jean M. (Langill) Dee, 80, a resident of Tewksbury for over 50 years, died Thursday, May 24, 2007. Born in Waltham on March 9, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Everett W. and Dorothy E. (Kingsbury) Langill. Mrs. Dee was raised in Waltham, attended Waltham schools and graduated from Waltham High School in 1945. Prior to her retirement in 1988, she was employed as a secretary by the former Control Data Computer Company of Waltham, where she worked for 20 years. She was a communicant of Saint William’s Parish of Tewksbury and was a former member of the Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality. Mrs. Dee enjoyed caring for her flower garden, antiquing, and knitting sweaters for her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Donald W. Dee and his wife Joanne (Doherty), Meredith J. Ford, Bradford J. Dee and his wife Christine (Doyle) and Janet V. Gacek and her husband Mark; four grandchildren, Paige C. Pettit, Alexander B. and Charlotte E. Gacek and Joseph B. and Ronan W. Dee; two sisters, Marjorie LeBlanc and her husband Armand and Judith Eagan and her husband John; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her former husband, Donald J. Dee. ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours Thursday, May 31, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Her funeral will be held Friday, June 1, at 9 a.m., from the funeral home, followed by her funeral Mass at 10 a.m., at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Saints Medical Center, c/o the Spindle Fund, 2 Hospital Drive, Lowell, MA 01852, are requested.
