Sue Ellen Langill

PHOENIX, Ariz. - Sue Ellen Langill, 63, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Newton and Waltham, died Sunday, April 15, 2007, at Hospice of the Valley in Tempe, Ariz. after a long illness. Born in Newton and raised in Waltham, daughter of the late Alfred K. and Helen E. (Hartlen) Langill, she lived most of her life in Waltham, moving to Phoenix 10 years ago to be near her daughters. She loved animals, flowers, antiques, the beach, the Red Sox and Bruins, and her family and friends. She leaves her daughters and their husbands, Kathleen and David Underwood of Phoenix, and Kimberly and John Martin of Chandler, Ariz.; her grandchildren, Kyle and Christopher Temmallo and Nicholas Martin; her sister, Marcia Contrino and her husband, Louis, of Marshfield; her brothers, G. Stephen Langill and his wife, Jean, and A. Kyle Langill, Jr. and his wife, Yvonne, of Waltham; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Henry "Hank" Langill. At her request, there will be no service and her ashes will be scattered in an Arizona garden at a later date. Instead of flowers, a donation in her memory may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
