Shirley Marie Langille (nee Edwards)

LANGILLE, Shirley Marie - 70, Eastern Passage, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 11, 2007, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Eastern Passage, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Hazel (DeYoung) Edwards. She was a member of the Eastern Passage Cow Bay Lions Ladies Auxiliary, a lifetime parishioner of St. Andrews Church and a member of the senior choir. She was also a volunteer at Oceanview Manor. She is survived by children, Anne (Barry Thomas), Cole Harbour; Heather (Sean Lennon), Michigan; Carolyn, Eastern Passage; Curtis (Sarah), Quispamsis, N.B.; grandchildren, Logan and Olivia; sisters, Monica Walker, Toronto; Mary Eisan, London, Ont.; brothers, Leo and George, both of Eastern Passage. She was recently predeceased by her husband, Harold. Visiting will be 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Eastern Passage Community Funeral Home, 5 Cow Bay Rd. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church, Eastern Passage, Father Gerald David celebrant. Burial will be in St. Andrews Cemetery immediately followed by a reception at the Lions Club, Hornes Road. Family flowers only by request, in lieu, donations may be made in memory to St. Andrews Parish Building Fund.
