Wendell Morrell Langille
January 26, 1943 - September 14, 2007
LANGILLE, Wendell Morrell "Del" - 64, Halifax, passed away peacefully at home on September 14, 2007, with his loving wife, Paulette, at his side. Born in Gulf Shore, Cumberland Co., he was a son of the late Otis and Lillian Langille (Upper New Cornwall). "Del", as he preferred to be called, worked in the construction industry as a concrete finisher for many years. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by those who loved his grand sense of humour. Wendell is survived by his wife, Paulette Cable; sons, Robert, Halifax; Derrick (Norma), Dartmouth; brothers, Dean (Lucella), Dartmouth; Reid (Beverley), Middle Cornwall, Malcolm (Brenda), Upper New Cornwall; four grandsons and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Atlantic Funeral Home, Bayers Road. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice. Special thanks to the devoted and caring staff of the Nova Scotia Cancer Centre for all of their help and support.
