Cyrus Hugh Langille

LANGILLE, Cyrus Hugh "Cy" - 84, Truro, passed away June 16, 2007, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Brule, he was a son of the late D. Lawrence and Mary Ann (Gunn) Langille. He was a retired auto mechanic having worked at A.E. Murdocks, Goodspeeds and retiring from Stuart Pontiac. He had just recently received his 55 year pin from the Royal Canadian Legion. He also served in the Canadian Armed Forces. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, traveling and was a great lover of both gardening and music. He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, the former Irene Langille; brother, Sandy (Margaret), Marshville; sister, Grace, Marshville. Visitation will be held on today from 7-9 p.m. with a Royal Canadian Legion Tribute Service at 6:45 p.m.; memorial service Wednesday at 2 p.m., all in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, Rev. Gordon MacLean officiating. Interment in Lockerby Cemetery, Tatamagouche. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Colchester Regional Hospital.
