We are deeply saddened to announce the death of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother at the age of 83 Jeanie Bonnar
on December 27, 2007 following lengthy illnesses.
Beloved wife and loving partner of James Stuart Bonnar of Ottawa, for 63 years.
Mother of 6 children, 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Daughter Linda France (Jim) of Calgary and their son Matthew, son Jim (partner Francie Chappell) of Fitzroy Harbour and Jim's sons Jason (fiance Shara Turner) and Andrew and Jim's daughter Jamie Anne Goodfellow (Colin), daughter Debbie Gilmour (Jeff) of Calgary, their son Dr. Michael Parkins (Dr. Vicky) and grandson Elliot, son Bob (Cecile) of Kuala Lumpur and their daughter Melanie and son Daniel, son Doug (Cindy) of Brampton and their daughters Kimberley (fiance Scott Peters) and Stephanie, son David (Kathy) of Calgary and their daughter Nicole. Predeceased by her elder brother Ernie Langille in 2004 at the age of 84 (Fonnie) and her twin brother Gerald Langille at the age of 79 in 2002 (Frances). Jeanie was the daughter of the late James and Maude Langille of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 4, 2008 at Pinecrest Visitation Centre (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa) from 12 noon until time of the Memorial Service in the Pinecrest Chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment will be held on Saturday, January 5th at Pinecrest Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. family only. Many thanks to the staff of the Queensway-Carleton Hospital and the Park Place Retirement Residence for their care and kindness. In lieu of flowers the family requests that any donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
