MacLEOD (Fraser), Edna MacDonald - Her husband and family announces the passing of Edna MacLeod
on February 13, 2003, in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche.
Born July 25, 1917,
she was a daughter of the late George and Jessie (Langille) Fraser, Brule.
Edna was a teacher in Colchester and Pictou Counties for 35 years, retiring in 1976.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Malcolm, Tatamagouche;
son, David (Shirley), Truro;
granddaughters, Alana, Truro; Patricia, Nottingham, England;
sisters, Annie Vincent, Tatamagouche; Lillian (Donald) Sutherland, Truro;
brothers, William (Jean), Brule; David, Hamilton, Ont.;
sisters-in-law, Aileen, Tatamagouche; Joyce, New Glasgow.
She was predeceased by sisters, Ellen Hayman, Janie Donaldson and Kathleen "Kay" Cunningham;
brothers, Hughie, George and Henry.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Coulter's Funeral Home, Tatamagouche.
By Edna's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.
A graveside service will be held in the spring.
Memorial donations may be made to North Shore Health Services Foundation.
