DEAGLE, Rita Katheryn - Westville, passed away February 9, 2003, at home.
Born in Trenton,
she was a daughter of the late Mary Belle (Langille) and Laughlin McKinnon.
She is survived by son, Larry Deagle, Thompson, Man.;
daughter, Carol (Gordon) Stewart, Westville;
sisters, Ann MacKenzie, Truro;
Bunny (Frank) Mason, Lourdes;
grandchildren, Tim (Trish) Stewart, Austin, Tex.;
Jason Stewart (Cindy), Pictou;
great-granddaughter, Amanda Stewart, Austin, Tex.;
many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Pte. J.A. McKinnon;
a son in infancy; long-time friend and companion, Doug MacLeod.
In accordance with her wishes, her body was donated to medical science.
There will be no funeral or visitation.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Pictou County Victorian Order of Nurses
or Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care.
