in QEII Health Sciences Centre, VG Site, Halifax.
Born in Chegoggin, Yarmouth Co.,
he was a son of the late William and Geneva (Moses) Hazelton.
He was a member of St. Ambrose Cathedral, Yarmouth.
He worked for Yarmouth Regional Hospital for 35 years, retiring in 1989.
Surviving are his wife, the former Verna Harrington;
daughters, Judy (Mrs. Robert Deveau), Chegoggin;
Nancy (Mrs. David Langille) Bridgewater,
sons, Joseph, Halifax,
Glen Scott, Yarmouth;
brothers Bruce, Hughie, Yarmouth;
Donald, Malcolm, Ontario;
William, British Columbia;
sisters, Violet (Mrs. Leo LeBlanc), Irene (Mrs. Eugene Tetford), Joyce (Mrs. Donald Goodwin),
Seretha Fevens, Lennie Nickerson, Lillian O'Connell, Yarmouth;
five grandchildren.
He was predeceased by brother, Murray.
Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, with prayers at 8 p.m., both in Sweeney's Funeral Home, Yarmouth.
Funeral 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Ambrose Cathedral, Yarmouth, Rev. Samuel Nuako officiating.
Burial in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery.
Donations to The Arthritis Society or any charity.
