LEVY, Ernest R. - 81, Chester Grant, died peacefully March 22, 1998, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Born on Little Tancook Island,
he was a son of the late William and Augusta (Young) Levy.
He was a self-employed fisherman all his life until his retirement in 1986.
He was an active member of Little Tancook Baptist Church until 1979,
when he and his family moved to Chester Grant.
He was a faithful member of Aenon United Baptist Church, Chester Basin, and served as an usher for many years.
He was a devoted husband and loving father and will be deeply missed by his wife and his children.

He is survived by his loving wife, the former Irene S. Langille;
daughters, Barbara Jollymore, Blandford;
Patricia Cross, East Berlin;
Paulette Cyr, Edmonton, Alta.;
Susan Prosser, Marriotts Cove;
son, Derek, Blandford;
sister, Janet Levy, Parrsboro;
17 grandchildren; a great-grandson.
He was predeceased by brothers, Milford, Kingsley and Thomas;
sisters, Winnie, Jane and Ida.
Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Funeral Home, Chester.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Aenon United Baptist Church, Chester Basin,
Rev. Leo Gallant officiating.
Burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Chester Basin.
Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Aenon United Baptist Church Christian Education Centre.
