Violet Margaret Slaunwhite, 78, 2 McIntosh St., Halifax, died Sunday in Victoria General Hospital.
Born in Halifax,
she was a daughter of the late John and Annie (Langille) Kidney.
She is survived by two sons, Lester and George, both of Halifax,
a daughter, Paulette (Mrs. Michael MacDonald), Halifax,
nine grandchildren, a great-grandson.
She was predeceased by her husband, George,
a son, James,
four brothers, George, Patrick, John and Frank;
four sisters, Eileen, Henrietta, Gertrude and Mary Ellen.
The body is in J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, Halifax.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Michael's Church, Rev. Ronald Kairns officiating.
Burial will be in Camp Hill Cemetery.
