LANGILLE, Alfred Anderson - 89, Wellington Street, Pictou, formerly of Harris Road, Haliburton,
passed away January 29, 2003, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Lyons Brook,
he was the son of the late Howard and Sadie Bell (Langille) Langille.
A long-time resident of Harris Road and Pictou,
Alfred was a retired employee of National Sea, working in the maintenance department.
He enjoyed the company of friends, and a good game of cards.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl (Munro);
numerous stepchildren;
sister, Beatrice Heighton, Pictou.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Martha (Hemphill);
sisters, Sophie, Laura.
Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Pictou,
Rev. Foster Jenkins officiating.
Spring burial will be in Marshville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
