Born in Halifax,
he was a son of the late Arthur and Frances (Shanks) Hannaford.
Surviving are his wife, the former Dianne Langille;
daughter, Jennifer;
son, Nicholas, both at home;
brothers, Arthur, Bridgewater;
Francis, Chezzetcook,
several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brother, Harold.
Visitation 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday, both in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville,
Rev. Linda MacDonald officiating.
Burial in Christ Church Cemetery, Maitland.
