COTTER, Ergil Glenni - 78, Lorne, Pictou Co., died May 20, 1997, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Poplar Hill, Pictou Co.,
he was a son of the late Fred Langille and Lavina Cotter.
He had been a resident of Tatamagouche prior to moving to Lorne, where he resided for the past 33 years.
He was an adherent of the Presbyterian Church. He was a former employee of the CNR and Michelin Tire Corp.
He was a carpenter by trade, having worked in various saw mills throughout the county.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener.
Surviving are his wife, the former Vivian Waugh,
daughters, Helen (Mrs. Nick Sharpe), Lorne;
Barb (Mrs. Art MacKay),
Rose (Mrs. Doug Stewart) Foxbrook,
sons, Douglas, Ernest, at home,
Billy of Lorne,
10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren;
sister, Ruth (Mrs. George Falconer), Sundridge;
brother, Alvin Langille, Scotch Hill.
He was predeceased by sister, Eileen Falconer, brother, Edgar.
Visitation 2-4, 7-9p.m. today, funeral 2 p.m. Friday, both in H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home,
Rev. Charles MacPherson officiating.
Burial in Lorne Cemetery. Donations to VON or any charity
