Virginia Belle "Jennie" MacKay (nee Langille)
May 9, 1915 - January 16, 2003
in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche.
Born in River John,
she was a daughter of the late Ross and Catherine (Langille) Langille.
She took a keen interest in the activities of the community.
She is survived by son, Robert (Marilyn), Earltown;
grandchildren, Colin and Samantha, both at home;
stepdaughter, Thelma (Aurel) Blanchard, Saint John, N.B.;
brothers, Elroy, Toronto; Ronald (Inez), Wasaga Beach, Ont.;
sister, Muriel Robar, Kingston, Ont.;
sister-in-law, Betty Langille, Hopewell.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Edgar MacLeod; second husband, Earl MacKay;
grandson, Kelly;
brothers, Spurgeon and Eben; sister, Katherine;
stepson, Carl MacLeod.
Cremation has taken place.
Family graveside service and burial will take place in the spring in Earltown Village Cemetery, Earltown.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
Arrangements are entrusted to Mac-Leod's Funeral Home, River John.
