William L. Langill Sr., 79, of 17 Westport Road, Winchester,
died Tuesday at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene.
He was born in Plymouth Sept. 12, 1913,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Langill, and had lived in West Swanzey and Winchester for almost 50 years.
Mr. Langill was a self-employed contractor.
He was an honorary life member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Survivors include one son, Richard W. Langill of Hiawasse, Ga.;
three daughters, Barbara Locke of Keene, Betty Ann Sikoski of Deland, Fla., and Catherine J. Riesenberg of Stoddard;
one brother, Clarence Langill of Plymouth;
13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the family lot in Mountain View Cemetery in Swanzey Center.
There are no calling hours.
The Fletcher Funeral Home of Keene is in charge of arrangements.
