Ronald Murray Hamm

home.
Born in Mader's Cove, Lunenburg Co.,
he was a son of Minnie (Langille) Hamm, Kentville and the late Everett Hamm.
He was production coordinatior with Canada Packers/Shur-Gain, Port Williams division for over 30 years.
He was a member and past King Lion of the Port Williams & District Lions Club,
where he spent 19 years as treasurer.
In 2002, he received the Port Williams "Volunteer of the Year" Award.
He enjoyed hunting and gardening and will be sadly missed by his hunting partner, best friend and father-in-law, Roy Carey.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, the former Sue Carey;
daughter, Patricia "Trish"; granddaughter, Jenelle, both at home;
son, Barry, Edmonton, Alta.;
sister, Sylvia (Bill) Weir, Kentville;
brother, Arthur (Judy), Maders Cove;
several nieces and nephews.
Visitation and a Lions memorial service was held Wednesday, funeral service 11 a.m. today,
all in W.C. Hiltz/White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Rev. Elizabeth Johnson and Rev. Joao Matwawana officiating.
Private burial will take place in Willowbank Cemetery, Wolfville, Kings Co.
Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Annapolis Valley Victorian Order of Nurses.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to W.C. Hiltz/White Family Funeral Home, Kentville.
