Born in River John,
he was a son of the late Clyde and Vivian (Heighton) Langille.
He served in the Canadian Army with the North Novas.
He was a lobster fisherman.
Surviving are stepmother, Hazel Langille, River John;
half-sisters, Thelma, Burlington, Ont.;
Shirley, Woodstock, Ont.;
half-brothers, Charles (Sharon), Arnold (Barb), Raymond, Wayne (Johanna) and Colin, all of River John;
Bob, Belleville, Ont.; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, Herbert and Boyd; half-brother, Leo.
The remains are resting in MacLeod's Funeral Home, River John, with visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today,
where the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 108, will hold their memorial service at 6:45 p.m.
A private family funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel,
Rev. Bruce Ward officiating.
Burial in Cape John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
