JAMIESON, Trueman Everett - 81, North Wallace, passed away suddenly Friday, December 27, 2002, at home.
Born in North Wallace,
he was a son of the late Fred Day and Nellie (Bonnell) Jamieson.
He was a veteran of the Second World War, having served with the North Nova Highlanders serving in Germany, Italy, France and Holland. He was a carpenter by trade and an avid outdoorsman.
He worked as a lobster fisherman for 50 years and was a resident of North Wallace his entire life.
He was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 60, Pugwash.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Olivia (McKinnon) (Langille);
son, Jeff (Terri), Edmonton;
daughter, Cindy (Paul) Gatchell, Pugwash;
sisters, Doreen Pollard (Fred Thompson), North Wallace; Gertie (Wathan) Piers, Pugwash;
brothers, Clarence, Gerald, Frank (Pauline), Earl, Alex (Joanne), Roy (Mabel), all of North Wallace;
Gordon (Eileen), Gulf Shore;
numerous nieces and nephews.
He will also be missed by his special "grand puppy", Chloe.
He was predeceased by stepdaughter, Elizabeth Anne Langille;
sister, Jean Joudrey;
a brother and sister, both in infancy.
Visitation will be 6-8:30 p.m. Sunday, with a Legion tribute at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, funeral service 2 p.m. Monday, all in Mundle's Funeral Home, Pugwash,
Rev. Edgar Patriquin officiating.
Burial will be in Wallace Cemetery. Family flowers only.
Donations in Trueman's memory may be made to St. Andrew's United Church, Fox Harbour or a charity of choice.
