JAMIESON, Trueman Everett - 81, North Wallace, passed away suddenly Friday, December 27, 2002, at home.
Born in North Wallace,
he was a son of the late Fred Day and Nellie (Bonnell) Jamieson.
He was a veteran of the Second World War, having served with the North Nova Highlanders serving in Germany, Italy, France and Holland. He was a carpenter by trade and an avid outdoorsman.
He worked as a lobster fisherman for 50 years and was a resident of North Wallace his entire life.
He was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 60, Pugwash.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Olivia (McKinnon) (Langille);
son, Jeff (Terri), Edmonton;
daughter, Cindy (Paul) Gatchell, Pugwash;
sisters, Doreen Pollard (Fred Thompson), North Wallace; Gertie (Wathan) Piers, Pugwash;
brothers, Clarence, Gerald, Frank (Pauline), Earl, Alex (Joanne), Roy (Mabel), all of North Wallace;
Gordon (Eileen), Gulf Shore;
numerous nieces and nephews.
He will also be missed by his special "grand puppy", Chloe.
He was predeceased by stepdaughter, Elizabeth Anne Langille;
sister, Jean Joudrey;
a brother and sister, both in infancy.
Visitation will be 6-8:30 p.m. Sunday, with a Legion tribute at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, funeral service 2 p.m. Monday, all in Mundle's Funeral Home, Pugwash, Rev. Edgar Patriquin officiating.
Burial will be in Wallace Cemetery. Family flowers only.
