Simpson Dr., Saint John, N.B., occurred on Saturday, April 3,
1999, at Dr.
Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, N.B. Born in Hampton,
N.B., on July
13, 1911, a daughter of the late William "Bill" and Ethel
(Yeomans)
Bradshaw. Mrs. Langille had resided in St. Martins, Saint John
and in
Halifax, where she had been employed as a practical nurse and
was a member
of Full Gospel Church for many years. After leaving Halifax and
returning
to resided in Saint John in 1976, Mrs. Langille became a member
of Cross
Roads Cathedral. Her sunny disposition and positive attitude
were an
inspiration to all who knew her. Doris is survived by her
daughter, Laverne
and husband Malcolm Thomas, Fredericton; son, Cyril and wife
Pat, Saint
John; grandchildren, Troy Thomas, Tulsa, Okla.; Tynalle Thomas,
Montreal;
Cathy and Brian, Watson, Rothesay; Michael and Cathie Langille,
Loch
Lomond, and Danny Langille, Saint John; great-grandchildren,
Kyle Watson,
Tyler, Brendan and Jamie Langille. She is also survived by her
brother, Joe
and Winnie Bradshaw, Halifax, as well as several nieces, nephews
and
cousins. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row,
Saint John,
with visitation today from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-9 p.m.
Funeral
service will be held on Wednesday, April 7, at 1 p.m. from Cross
Roads
Cathedral with Pastor Todd Scoville officiating. Interment will
take place
in Brown's Cemetery, Bains Corner, at a later date.
