KNICKLE, Hugh Keith - 76, Fauxburg, died Monday, November 11, 2002,
in Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.
Born in Lunenburg,
he was a son of the late Loraine and Alice (Knickle) Knickle.
He spent 51 dedicated years at sea.
He was a devoted husband, father an grandfather.
He was a member of St. James Anglican Church, Mahone Bay.
He is survived by his wife, the former Jean Langille;
sons, Karl, Wileville;
Kameron, Bridgewater;
daughters, Susan (Richard) Burress, Oakhill;
Alison (Robert) Peel, Fauxburg;
Kelley (Arthur) Piercy, Pinegrove;
16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren;
sisters, Barbara (Earl) Hooper, Bridgewater;
Joanne (Ben) Wheeler, Lunenburg;
brothers, Donald (Verna), Blockhouse;
Eugene (Veronica), Martin's Brook;
Robert, Fauxburg; Gary, Fauxburg.
Hugh was predeceased by brothers, Watson, Clarence, Gerald, Loraine;
sister, Marguerite;
grandson, Jonathan.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. 3, Lunenburg.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 19,
in St. James Anglican Church, Mahone Bay, Rev. Irving Letto officiating.
Interment will be in Garden of Rest Cemetery, Blockhouse, at a later date.
Flowers from immediate family only.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society,
Canadian Diabetes Association or St. James Anglican Church, Mahone Bay.
