LANGILLE, Boyd Ellsworth - 79, River John, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2002,
in Willow Lodge Home for Special Care, Tatamagouche.
Born in River John,
he was a son of the late Clyde and Vivian (Heighton) Langille.
He was a woodsman and fisherman and spent 31 years at Trenton Car Works.
He was a veteran of the Second World War with the Cape Breton Highlanders and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 108, River John.
He was a member of St. John's Anglican Church, River John.
Surviving are his wife, the former Eileen Gratto;
sons, Richard, John "Jackie" (Sharon), both of River John;
Daniel, Poplar Hill;
brothers, Jerry, Charles, Arnold (Barb), Raymond, Wayne (Johanna), Colin, all of River John;
Bob, Belleville, Ont.;
sisters, Thelma, Burlington, Ont.;
Shirley, Woodstock, Ont.;
stepmother, Hazel Langille, River John;
grandchildren, Laura (Dave), Surrey, B.C.;
Sonya (Vernon), Brule;
Chris (Paula), Halifax;
Shane (Shannon), River John;
Crystal (Ron), Burlington, Ont.;
great-grandchildren, Nathan, Summer, Dylan, Devon;
numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by son, Brent;
brothers, Leo, Herb.
Visitation 7-9 p.m. today in MacLeod's Funeral Home, River John.
Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday in St. John's Anglican Church, River John,
Rev. Aidan Kingsbury officiating.
Burial in Cape John Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Huntington Society of Canada or a charity of choice.
