NIX, G. Gardener - 73, 33 MacIntosh Ave., Bible Hill, died November 13, 2000,
in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro.
Born in Waltham, Mass.,
he was a son of the late George and Violette (Hagar) Nix.
He was a long-time employee of Wilson Fuel's Ltd., Truro.
He is survived by his wife, the former Dorothy Langille;
daughter, Cathy (Mrs. Kevin Cox), Bible Hill;
grandchildren, Christie and Kevin;
brother, Harding and wife Blanche, Clairmont, New Hampshire;
several nieces, nephews and cousins.
No public visitation by request.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Mattatall Funeral Home, Truro,
Rev. Ebbie Snow will officiate, with cremation to follow.
Burial will be held at a later date in the Onslow Island Cemetery, Central Onslow.
Family flowers only.
Donations in memory may be made to St. David's United Church Memorial Fund
or to a charity of one's choice.
He will be sadly missed by his family and by his friends, for his generosity and many good deeds.
