LYON, Vera Alberta - 79, Lower Branch, Lunenburg Co.,
died September 19, 2002, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Born in West Northfield, Lunenburg Co.,
she was a daughter of the late Artemus and Mae (Dauphinee) Langille.
She was a member of Bridgewater United Church Happy Gang,
Bridgewater Seniors Group and former member of the South Shore Bluegrass Association.
She was a homemaker and was employed with Michelin Tire Ltd. for seven to nine years.
Surviving are sons, Owen (Suzanne), Lower Branch;
Kevin (Engelina), Bridgewater;
brother, Carmen (Phyllis), Brantford, Ont.;
sisters, Lena Gauthier, Bridgewater;
Marguerite (Harry) Russell, West Northfield;
grandchildren, Trevor and Rachel, both of Bridgewater; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert Crouse;
her second husband, Phinney Lyon;
brothers, Stuart in infancy, Elwood and Amos; stepbrother, Silas.
There will be no visitation in the funeral home by request.
Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville,
Rev. Ivan Norton officiating.
Burial in Midville Branch Cemetery.
Immediate family flowers only.
