LANGILLE, James Ernest "Ernie" - 84, passed away September 18, 2002,
at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Liscomb Mills, Guysborough Co.,
he was the eldest son of the late James H. and Maude (Brown) Langille.
He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving in the Canadian Navy.
He retired from Metro Transit after 38 years of service.
He was a 50 year member of St. Mark's Masonic Lodge 38.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Florence "Fonnie" (Davie);
daughter, Sharon, Halifax;
son, Ronald, Halifax;
granddaughter, Kelly, Lower Sackville;
brother, Gerald O. (Fran), Dartmouth;
sister, Jeannie (James) Bonnar, Ottawa, Ont.;
several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, giving father and generous friend.
Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St., Halifax,
where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Ross Bartlett officiating.
Burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
