CUNNINGHAM, Mary Kathleen "Kay" - 80, Dieppe, N.B.,
passed away August 30, 2002, in The Moncton City Hospital.
Born in Brule, December 16, 1921,
she was a daughter of the late George and Jessie (Langille) Fraser.
She was a graduate of Provincial Normal College, Truro
and taught for several years in one-room schoolhouses.
She worked for Creaghan's Department Store and
enjoyed retirement with her friends from there.
Surviving are daughters, Maxine (Bud) Duffield, Riverview;
Charlotte (John) Kleppe, Edmonton;
Brenda Cunningham, Moncton;
grandchildren, Glenda/Emma (Graeme) Robichaud,
Kathy (Norm) Coons, Johnny Kleppe, Mike (Pat) Duffield, Susan (Marc) Duffield;
great-grandchildren, Jesse, Joshua, Damon;
sisters, Annie Vincent, Edna (Malcolm) MacLeod, both of Tatamagouche;
Lillian (Don) Sutherland, Truro;
brothers, Bill (Jean), Tatamagouche;
Dave, Hamilton;
several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Hector, in 1984;
sisters, Ellen Hayman, Janie Donaldson;
brothers, Hughie, George and Henry.
No visitation by request.
Graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, September 2,
in Lockerby Memorial Cemetery, Tatamagouche, Rev. Morley Bentley officiating.
Reception to follow in the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society
or a charity of your choice.
