Langille, Verna Joan - 60, Blockhouse, Lunenburg Co., died May 3, 1995,
in Fisherman's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.
Born in Bridgewater,
she was a daughter of the late Roland and Maude (Young) Meisner.
In her early years she worked with Kerr's Restaurant and later with the Fish Net, Lunenburg.
She was a member of Central United Church, Lunenburg.
Surviving are her husband, Harvey;
daughter, Gloria (Mrs. Gary Whynot), Yarmouth;
son, Wayne, Maitland, Lunenburg Co.;
sisters, Helen (Mrs Aubrey Thompson), West Clifford;
Nita (Mrs. Donald Feener), Dartmouth;
Marguerite (Mrs. Harold Lowe), Mildred Meisner, Bridgewater;
Betty (Mrs. Douglas Clarke), Wolfville;
Flora Meisner, Oakhill;
Faye (Mrs. Jack Denson, Pleasantville;
Burnadette (Mrs. Carol Bruhm), Cookville;
brother, Jack, Ontaio; five grandchildren.
She was predeceased by an infant daughter, a granddaughter, Grace;
sisters, Molly, Blanche; brothers, Donald, Carl, Harry, Leigh, Bernard, Murray.
Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Dana L. Sweeney Funeral Home, Lunenburg.
Funeral 2 p.m. Friday in Central United Church, Lunenburg, Rev. Vincent Ihasz officiating.
Burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Lung Association,
Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or any charity.
