LANGILLE, Reid Clark - 81, Halifax, passed away
Monday, February 4, 2002, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax.
Born in Martins River,
he was a son of the late Effie (Baker) and Burton Langille.
He had worked at Nova Scotia Power for over 30 years.
He was a member and past patron of Armcrest Chapter No. 45,
Order of the Eastern Star, a member
of the Masonic Order recently receiving his 50 year Jewel.
He was an avid carpenter and enjoyed bowling, dancing, music and playing cards.
He is sadly missed by his wife, Patricia and
her two daughters, three sons, nine grandchildren;
his children, Barbara Halsall (Tom),
Marjorie Verge (Howard);
son, Terry (Charlotte), Jamie (Patsy);
grandchildren, Stephen, Jacqui (Andy), Tracy (Jai), Wally, Andy,
Chuckie, Jessie-Lee, Jeff and Amanda;
brother, Scott, Halifax and Florida.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Ethel (Drover);
brothers, Clayton and Jim.
No visitation by request.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 6,
in St. Paul's United Church, Spryfield, Rev. Calvin Ginn officiating.
A reception to follow in the church hall.
Private family burial to take place at a later date.
Donations in memory may be made to Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
