Much sympathy is being offered the family of Tremaine M. Langille, 53,
who died last week at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax,
following a lingering illness.
He was the son of the Mrs. Maurice (Joye) Langille and the late Mr. Langille.
He was a member of the Armed Forces, retiring a few years ago.
Surviving are his wife Aline, Blockhouse;
and a daughter, Debra (Mrs. Gordon Doyle), Lower Sackville;
three sisters, Verbena (Mrs. Medley MacBeth) Washington, D.C.;
Verona (Mrs. Robert Jones) Lower Sackville;
Barbara (Mrs. Morris Nowe), Lunenburg,
two brothers, Lorne, Lake Errock, B.C.,
and Wayne, Blockhouse.
Funeral service was held in St. James' Anglican Church, Mahone Bay,
with the Rev. W.B. Dye officiating, assisted by Archdeacon G.P. Pritchard,
Chaplain of the Royal Canadian Legion No. 49, Mahone Bay, of which the Legion were present.
Supplying organist, Lynn Brine and the church choir were in attendance.
Interment took place in the Garden of Rest Cemetery, Blockhouse,
where the Last Grace was played on the Bagpipes by Miss Brine.
Mrs. Medley MacBeth has returned to her home in Washingon, D.C.
after spending some some time with her mother, Mrs. Maurice Langille.
She was called home due to the death of her brother, Tremaine Langille.
Visitors at the home of Mrs. Tremaine Langille were her father, Mr. Henry Boudreau,
her brothers Manny and Vernon, all of Massachusetts;
sisters, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Boudreau and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Backarack of New Brunswick.
