LANGILLE (Emberly), Beatrice - 92, formerly of Elm Street, Springhill,
died March 17, 1999, in High Crest Nursing Home, Springhill.
Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late William and Eliza Jane (Legrow) Emberly.
She was a member of St. Andrews-Wesley United Church in Springhill,
a member of the UCW and taught Sunday school
and played piano for many years in the church
Sunday school. She was a past member of and a past noble grand of Noble Rebekah Lodge 23.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing, playing the piano, her cottage,
growing African violet plants and her family.
Surviving are daughters; Marilyn (Mrs. Phillip Higgins), Truro;
Mrs. Dorothy Loomer, Waverley;
sister, Gertrude (Mrs. Cyril Hollis), Springhill;
two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Trueman Langille;
brothers, Edmund, Cecil; sister, Florence; grandson, David Trueman Higgins.
