MacDONALD, Dorothy Elizabeth - 62, Gables Lodge, Amherst,
formerly of 9 Mission St., passed away Monday, January 7, 2002,
in Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst.
Born in Amherst,
she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Louitta (Langille) MacDonald.
She was a member of Nativity of Our Lady Roman Catholic Church, Amherst,
Chapter of the Kidney Foundation of Canada and the Cumberland North P. C. Association.
She is survived by sister, Edna Bacon (Roy), John Black Road;
brothers, Jim (Susan), Amherst;
Donald,Truro;
several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Besides her parents,
she was predeceased by her sisters, Theresa and Mary in infancy;
brother, Douglas.
Her remains are resting in Furlong's Funeral Home, Amherst
with visiting hours today from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. and
where parish prayers will be held at 8 p.m.
Her funeral mass will be held in Nativity of Our Lady Roman Catholic Church
10 a.m. Wednesday, Father Gaetan Banyog-enne officiating.
Burial will be in Saint Charles-Nativity Cemetery later in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Nova Scotia Branch,
The Salvation Army or a charity of your choice.
