Adelaide Langille (nee Nauss)

- Mrs Gideon Langille -
The death of Adelaide, widow of Gideon Langille, New Germany,
occurred at the home of her son, Norman, on Jan. 9th, at the age of 76 years.
Although she had been in failing health for some time
she had entertained the numbers of her family at dinner on Christmas Day, preparing the meal herself.
She was taken sick the following day and was
confined to her bed just two weeks before death occurred.
Her husband predeceased her in 1917.
Beside the son, Norman, with whom she resided there remains
two daughters, Edith, wife of Fred Fancy, of Union Square, and
Rebecca, whose husband William Read is at present very seriously ill in their home near Springfield, Mass.
There remain, also, six grand children and seven great grand children.
She was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Jacob Nauss, of Middle Cornwall
and of this family of seven,
surviving members are Joshua Nauss of New Germany and Ralph Nauss, of Detroit, Mich.
The funeral on Wednesday afternoon was conducted by Rev. G. W. Bullock of Bridgewater,
and after Church here the body was laid to rest beside her husband in the cemnetery at Middle Cornwall.
