LANGILLE, William "Bill" Vincent - 75, of Lockeport,
died February 16, 2001, at the Roseway Hospital, Sandy Point.
Born at Canada Hill, Shelburne Co.,
son of the late William and Charlotte (Vincent) Langille.
He was a licensed electrician and oil burner mechanic and
was employed at Lockeport High School for 30 years.
He served during the Second World War with the North Nova Scotia Highlanders.
He was a member of St. Andrew's United Church and Lockeport Sea Caps.
He was an avid basketball fan and
he was Volunteer of the Year for the town of Lockeport in 1990.
Surviving are wife, Dorothy (Williams), Lockeport;
son, Arnold and wife Vida, Bridgewater;
daughters, Wendy Langille, Canada Hill;
Patti (Mrs. Archie Hutchison), Halifax;
Marlene (Mrs. Michael MacLeod), Allendale;
sisters, Ruby Townsend, Osborne;
Ruth Blades, Lockeport;
grandchildren, Jeffery and Stacey Peterson,
Wendy Hutchison;
step-granddaughters, Michelle and Melissa MacLeod.
He was predeceased by sisters, Harriet in infancy,
Edith Lewis, Marion Hupman, Dot Hupman, Margenie Townsend.
Visitation today and Sunday 2-4, 7-9 p.m. in H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Lockeport.
Funeral 2 p.m. Monday in St. Andrew's United Church, Lockeport,
Rev. Robert Shaw and Rev. Ron Coole officiating.
Burial in the Lockeport Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association,
the Roseway Hospital Foundation or St. Andrew's United Church, Lockeport.
